As part of a Skype chat, a colleague brought up Sir Ken Robinson's TED Talk on creativity in education:

Worth a pause, to think about whether we have been strip-mining the potential of upcoming generations through an excessively regimented education system that tends to drive creativity out. 

Just when, the world desperately needs successful innovation and is undergoing rapid change in many ways.
